The article reports on developments in the mobile data roaming industry in Asia. Several mobile data roaming services with flat-rate pricing threaten the economic status of other roaming companies. They include Bridge Alliance's DataRoam plan using its 10 member operators across the continent and Conexus Mobile Alliance's data roaming plan in early 2008. Both firms aim to supply the increasing demand for affordable roaming services.
