This article introduces life insurance advisor Peter C. Katt of Katt & Company in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who discusses his professional opinions regarding the market for buying and selling life insurance policies for investment purposes. Katt discusses direct seller-to-buyer sales of life settlement policies, which the articles explains is similar to viatical sales. The article explains the life settlement situations should result in the policyowner retaining policy until the policy nears its termination.
