The article reports on the growth of the sport-utility vehicle (SUV) market in the United States in 2000. General Motors Corp. is planning an advertising campaign for its Pontiac Aztek SUV. The vehicle model targets young, trendy and sporty consumers. A television advertising campaign is likewise being planned.
