ABSTRACT

The article reports on issues regarding the economic stimulus package in the U.S. Various heating oil dealers have expressed that the funding for low-income heating assistance programs should be included in the economic stimulus package by their elected officials. Moreover, the Democratic leadership in Congress has also stated its interest to include increased benefits for low and middle-income Americans in the package.
