ABSTRACT
The article reports on the ratings of the final episode of the TV program "Monk" aired by USA Network. The finale broadcasting of the drama/comedy series on February 22, 2008 has recorded 6.8 million viewers. Jeff Wachtel, executive vice president of original programming at USA Network, said that the extraordinary performance of Tony Shalloub has kept the TV series popular. Among the other TV networks that USA outmatched were Disney Channel, Fox News Channel and Cartoon Network.
