ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of executives of DirecTV Inc. in cracking jokes about their rival companies. In an investor conference, DirecTV executive vice president of content strategy and development Derek Chang, jested Charter Communications Inc.'s reported loss of 66,000 analog customers in the fourth quarter of 2007. On the other hand, DirecTV executive vice president of entertainment Eric Shanks joked over the performance of Time Warner Inc.
