The article focuses on Delta Electronics, a company in Taipei, Taiwan that sells products that keep power plants running. Delta sells one out of every two power switches and adapters that go into game consoles, servers and workstations. It says sales rose 12.4% last year from 2006, to $4.8 billion. It won't release profit figures until March, but analysts estimate that earnings jumped 33%, to $466 million in 2007. Sales of Delta in China and India have increased over the last four years.
