ABSTRACT
The article discusses a report from Switzerland's National AIDS Commission that suggests that it is safe for some people with HIV infection to have sex without a condom. The report concludes that sex without condom is safe under specific conditions, such as when the infected person is in a long-term, monogamous relationship, has had detectable levels of the virus for at least six months, and adheres to a stringent antiretroviral medication program.
