Essential Oils Combat MRSA Bacteria

The article reports on the effectiveness of essential oils in fighting deadly methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections. According to the article, researchers at the University of Manchester, England, was able to identify that the oils used in aromatherapy is capable of killing bacteria and fungi within two minutes of contact. These essential oils include myrrh, lavender, frankincense, cypress, myrtle, clove, hyssop, basil and thyme.
