ABSTRACT
This three-year study demonstrates that high-achieving postbaccalaureate students skillfully serve as introductory laboratory teaching assistant when instructor demand exceeds the available graduate-student pool. Under the postbaccalaureate students' instruction student performance was maintained and, importantly, a significant increase in student satisfaction and interest was observed.
