ABSTRACT
The article highlights the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which was held in the U.S. It mentions Intel Corp.'s president Paul Otellini's opening keynote, which focuses on how the Internet has changed the world. It presents the criticism over Intel's Mobile Internet Devices (IMD), which allows its users to browse the Internet through their cellular phones. It also focuses on the new Yahoo! Go 3.0, which offers a better Internet access. It discusses ZigBee Alliance's display of a range of wireless thermostats, power meters and other devices that can adjust home power consumption, under the control of either the power company or the homeowner.
