ABSTRACT
The article reports that building products firm Masco Corp. has reported a net loss of $151 million in the fourth quarter of 2007 on a 7.9% drop in sales. According to the company, most of the weakness happened in its North American operations, where sales plummeted 13%. On the other hand, international sales escalated 11%. Global sales for the fourth quarter amounted to $2.7 billion, down from $2.93 billion in the previous year's fourth quarter.
