ABSTRACT
The article reports that English-language daily newspapers in United States markets with a strong Hispanic population are expanding their circulation and increasing their advertising revenue by partnering with Spanish-language and bilingual newspapers. Newspapers such as "La Opinion" and "el diario La Prensa" are welcoming the deals, while other Hispanic-based publishers complain that the bigger newspapers will use their leverage to offer marketers discount deals and win the majority of the share of advertising revenues.
