ABSTRACT
The article reports that commissioners of Stephens County, Texas, in their bimonthly meeting on December 26, 2007, has reinstated the burn ban for country residents because of the extended dry and windy weather conditions. The commissioners hired Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP as bond counsel and First Southwest Company as financial advisor for a proposed law enforcement center project. A bid from Browning Oil for fuels for 2008 and 2009 was approved as well as bids for crushed rock and road materials for 2008.
