ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of the Ohio Supreme Court in the case Leininger versus Pioneer National Latex which indicates that plaintiffs cannot asset a claim for wrongful discharge based on the public policy of the state against age discrimination. It says that the claims must be brought under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4112 or the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act. The alternative courses of action provided by the Ohio Revised Code for the plaintiffs are given.
