ABSTRACT
This article cites several anecdotes about love and money. It features a story about the death of a financial advisor's client. Within days, two different girlfriends called the advisor to claim the client's inheritance. Each had been told by the client to call the advisor and they would be taken care of. The second story was about a successful businessman who made two appointments several days apart with his financial planner. One was for his girlfriend, so he could move some assets to help her out when he died, and one was to ensure his wife's and children's needs. The third story was about a man who had been through three marriages. When he died, 11 people contested his will.
