ABSTRACT
The article reports on the dot-coms added by direct marketing company Draft Worldwide to its New York roster in 2000, which led to the increase in its list of interactive clients. Infopost, Fotobug.com and MoneyUnion chose Draft as first agency of record. According to Draft's business development director Matt Armstrong, the company launched a limited trade print campaign in January 2000 to market itself to dot-coms. The company got its first interactive client in 2000 when Stamps.com abandoned its brand campaign from Wieden & Kennedy, and named Draft's Chicago, Illinois office its agency of record.
