ABSTRACT
The article deals with the plan of "Seventeen" magazine to produce a record number of concerts, fashion shows, and sampling efforts at stores to reach its teenage demographic in the U.S. The plans for the Hollywood Spotlight fashion show and concert event that will be held in Los Angeles, California are described. The event sponsors of the magazine which include apparel and cosmetics marketers are cited. Information is presented on the deals signed by the magazine with Nike as a sponsor of a series of events.
