Continued agency consolidation helped propel agency worldwide gross income by 31.2 billion dollars in 1999 on billion dollars of 235.5 billion dollars. The top traditional, marketing services, multicultural, healthcare, business-to-business and interactive shops comprising the index also pushed U.S. gross income to 18.3 billion dollars on billings of 138.6 billion dollars. Statistics on the gross income of various agencies was presented.
