ABSTRACT
This article reports on management changes made to Fairchild Publications by CEO Mary G. Berner in April 2000. Berner has reorganized the company into three divisions: the trade division whose flagship is "Women's Wear Daily," the consumer magazine division with "Jane," "W" and "Details" and the Internet division, which plans to encompass an e-commerce operation. Future plans to drive growth, besides the Internet and e-commerce properties include expanding the "WWD" internationally to markets such as Italy and the West Coast.
