The article reports on the results of a survey on casual dining and formal dining furniture sales trends in the U.S. according to the Retail Dininy Survey of Furniture/Today. Retailers reported increased casual dining sales from more dressy looks in the category. Others reported increasing sales from gathering- and counter-height tables. Custom dining programs are also offered by retailers and manufacturers which include fabric styles for chair upholstery.
