ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the solar power initiative launched by Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE). Plug in the Sun offers homeowners 65 per cent funding to install 1.5kWp or 3kWp solar panel systems. Under the deal, NIE will provide a 15 per cent top-up for the Northern Ireland Government's Reconnect grant, which covers 50 per cent of the system and installation costs.
