ABSTRACT
The article states that Agfa continues to face problems associated with rumours that its management was offering the company for sale. According to a front-page article published in the Belgian daily "De Tijd" in December 2007, the company had abandoned plans to demerge and was actively looking for investors to take over parts of the business. Chief executive officer Jo Cornu emphasized that he had not approached anyone regarding a sale. It adds that stock price of the firm declined to approximately £4.74.
