ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase of budget deficit in Arizona. According to State Representative Russell Pearce, who chairs the House appropriations committee, the budget situation is worse than when legislative budget analysts calculated the deficit would be $970 million several months ago and he projects the figure to be revised before end of February 2008. This indicates that budget deficit is getting bigger and bigger.
