Wegmans kicking the tobacco habit

According to Danny Wegman, CEO and chairman of Wegmans, the decision was made in relation to the negative impact of smoking on a person's health. In addition to the cigarette ban, the company will offer a smoking cessation program to associates. Wegmans also launched the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
