Abstract: Primary cardiac chondrosarcoma is extremely rare with very few cases reported in the literature. Most cardiac chondrosarcomas described in the literature are secondary. We report herein a case of 22-year-old man who presented with easy fatigability, which the general practitioner diagnosed as mitral stenosis clinically. Echocardiography showed left atrial mass, possibly myxoma. The histopathology of the excised mass revealed mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, confirmed by immunohistochemistry. Clinical and radiological studies did not reveal any other neoplasm.

Intraventricular tumors represent a diagnostic problem, due to a wide range of differential diagnosis, with a important variability of tumors types in adult and pediatric population. We present a unique case of retroperitoneal/omental tumor with characteristics of Ewing's sarcoma/peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor (EWS/pPNET) and desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) in a young adult. This highly aggressive neoplasm must be distinguished from other primitive...

Background/Aims: CD10 (CALLA) has recently been reported to be expressed in spindle cell neoplasia, and has been used to differentiate endometrial stromal sarcoma from leiomyoma and leiomyosarcoma. In the breast, myoepithelial cells express CD10, but there are few studies of the expression of...
