ABSTRACT
The article reports on the launch of the turnkey digital headend system designed particularly for small independent cable television operators in the U.S. with fewer than 10,000 subscribers. Transparent Video Systems (TVS) president and founder Norm Gillespie cited how small companies lose subscribers to satellite companies. He announced the company's customers as of February 2008, Coaxial Cable TV and Paul Communications.
