Preferred adds equipment at three sites

The article reports that Preferred Rubber Compounding Corp. has added gear pump extruder/strainers at three of its custom mixing sites. It is stated that the move is meant to help meet demand from customers requiring "ultra-clean" elastomeric compounds for their applications. Two of the gear pump extruder/strainers-purchased from VMI-AZ Extrusion GmbH-have been installed at Preferred's Barberton, Ohio, facility, while the third will be up and running at its Huntingdon, Tennessee.
