ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs relevant to the cable television and broadcasting industry in the U.S. as of February 2008. OpenTV, a developer of interactive television software announced the deployment of more than 100 million digital set-top boxes and television with its two-way technology since 1997. Mushroom Networks has launched the Truffle broadband network appliance.
