ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effectiveness of Canadian Library Association (CLA)/Association canadienne des bibliothèques Strategic Plan. The Task Force has been effective in compiling an environment scan, gathering information on what other associations are doing, and determining processes for CLA members and stockholders to have their say. Moreover, data-gathering is going beyond merely asking stakeholders for their views on what CLA has done in the past and what they value.
