ABSTRACT
The article reports that Lauren Zalaznick has been chosen to oversee Oxygen after the company was purchased by NBC Universal. Zalaznick is known as the president of Bravo. It was Jeff Gaspin, whom she had worked with at VH1 several years ago and is now the president of the Universal Television Group, who chose Zalaznick for the position. Gaspin says it is Zalaznick's ability to bring an incredible amount of life to any network she works.
