ABSTRACT
The article reports on the findings of the survey by Nielsen Co. on searches made by mobile phone users in the U.S. It shows that 411-based searching, a directory assistance, is the most popular form of search with 18.1 million searchers, followed by searches based on text message with 14.1 million. The survey is conducted with over 5700 mobile search users in the third quarter of 2007.
