The article reports on the plan of Wal-Mart to open small-format grocery stores under the trade name Marketside in Phoenix, Arizona. It states that Wal-Mart has secured leases on four plots a mile away from Tesco's Fresh & Easy locations. The stores, at about 20,000 square feet, will open by the summer of 2008.
