ABSTRACT
Presents a study which examines the link between the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) hospital caseload and the death rate among HIV/AIDS patients in Canada. Indication that the volume and outcome of HIV infection and AIDS is robust and holds for both HIV-AIDS-related hospitalizations and for those due to Pneumocystis carini pneumonia; Methodology used to conduct the study; Discussion & conclusion of the study.
