The article reports Universal McCann, the media arm of U.S.-based advertising firm McCann-Erickson Worldwide, will revamp its research and development unit to focus on emerging technologies. Universal McCann Futures will be headed by Mitch Oscar. The department will experiment with innovations in interactive television, HDTV, personal TV recorders, satellite TV and digital radio.
