A Battle for the APA's Soul

The article reports on the American Psychological Association (APA) convention in San Francisco, California which proscribed its members from assisting directly in more than 20 kinds of interrogation procedures to suspected terrorists. It is also affirmed the duty of psychologists to report any abuses they witness and threatened sanctions against psychologists who fail to do so. It is inferred that more than 220 members of the organization have pledge to withhold their duties in protest.
