ABSTRACT
The article discusses the religious disposition of former United States president Abraham Lincoln. The author focuses on how many different people have opined as to the nature of Lincoln's religious views. However, the author states, Lincoln was a very private man and it is difficult to discern their exact nature. The author concludes that Lincoln had an acquaintance with the Bible, but was not a traditionally religious person.
