ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the technical standards working group (TSWG1), the latest initiative of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). According to the author, the new initiative focuses on the safety and security of the many operator members of the associations. Furthermore , Dave Gorshkov from Digital Grape and leader of TSWG1, states that the new standard include all the aspects of the security video systems, such as the camera resolution, frame rates and compression systems.
