Country Report
This article presents a summary of political risk, economic risk and business environment analysis on Estonia. The ratings of the Reform Party have trended downwards while support for the opposition Centre Party has increased due to the slowdown in the economy. The annual rate of consumer price inflation reached 9.6% in December 2007 and is expected to track higher during the first quarter of 2008. A study by the Estonian Development Fund showed that Estonia can no longer compete solely on being a low coast production destination.
