ABSTRACT
The article reports that the decisions made by seniors on the coverage of Medicare supplemental insurance or Medigap have become more complex according to industry representatives in the U.S. The increasing demand for Medigap was attributed to the high cost of gaps in Medicare coverage to seniors. People must do their homework and be ready for the open enrollment period according to Kathy Dugan, a statewide health insurance benefits adviser to Aging & Long-Term Care of Eastern Washington.
