The country is expected to have a total of 3.3 million tonnes per year oleochemical capacity that includes fatty acid, fatty alcohol and glycerin refining by 2009. Also, the country's fatty alcohol industry is facing significant capacity increases with its total capacity expected to reach more than 700,000 tonnes per year by 2009.
