ABSTRACT
The article reports on the changes in NBC Universal (NBCU) in terms of developing and selling programs to advertisers. NBCU's chief executive officer Jeff Zucker says that the changes includes cancellation of traditional upfronts of media companies in advertising agencies presentations. The changes can be alike in the process used by USA Network in which it developed five pilot programs in two years. The connection of the strike of the Writers Guild of America to NBCU's changes is also stated.
