It is suggested that the New York-based telecommunications company passed the 1 million FiOS TV subscribers in the first few weeks of 2008. It is inferred that the FiOS fiber-to-the-home network passed more than 9.3 million premises by the end of the year and expects to continue the build-out to another 3 million homes.
