ABSTRACT
The article reports that Grupo Famsa has acquired Edelstein's Better Furniture Ltd. as it continues to expand in the U.S. It is stated that Famsa took over the stores on February 1, 2008 from the Edelstein family. The family retains two other stores called Designer's Showroom and McAllen. With the acquisition, Famsa has 47 stores in the U.S. and it operates about 350 stores in Mexico.
