ABSTRACT
The article reports that Crate and Barrel Inc. president Barbara Turf will succeed co-founder and CEO Gordon Segal when he retires in May 2008. It is stated that before becoming president Turf was the retailer's executive vice president of merchandising. It is further mentioned that Turf succeeded Segal as president when he became CEO in 1996. In addition, the company is majority owned by Otto Group and has annual sales of more than $1.4 billion through its stores.
