ABSTRACT
The article reports on the business outlook for the bedding industry for 2008 in the U.S. It states that there are some causes for optimism and pessimism. Bedding insiders believe that the first half of the year will remain difficult as the weak housing market continues. However, there are some trends in the industry that auger well for business. One is traditional bedding producers continue to add more specialty sleep beds to their lines, further boosting the category.
