The article reports that the worst for the furniture industry could be over in 2008 in the U.S. It is believed that there will be a nice increase up in January and through the early months of the year. It adds that Southern California retailers are well positioned for some replacement business as victims of the past fall's devastating wildfires rebuild their homes.
