Tech vendor ProfitSystems acquires EasyChair Software

The article reports on the acquisition of EasyChair Software company by retail technology vendor Profit-Systems Inc. for an undisclosed amount in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The deal is expected to boost the vendor's position as a software supplier to large and small furniture retailers. According to Profit-System president Jeff Niskern, the merged companies will serve about 1,000 dealers and will generate revenues between $8 million and $9 million.
