ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of the Interior Design Society (IDS) to separate from the National Home Furnishings Association (NHFA) in High Point, North Carolina. The move will make IDS a fully independent association on January 1, 2008, focusing on services for the residential interior design trade. NHFA president Wogan S. Badcock III expressed appreciation for the services IDS provides to retailers.
