ABSTRACT
The article presents the nine teachers of the year 2007 chosen by the Correctional Educational Associations. It profiles the ninth awarded correctional mentors including Laura Greene from the region 1, Cheshire Correctional Institution, Cheshire Connecticut who teaches literary instructional program for ESL and non-reader population in 13th years, George Keefer from region 11 of Maryland Correctional Training Center, Hagerstown, Maryland who taught GED Math since April 24, 1973 and Ken Vanmieghem from region 111, Wisconsin Resource Center, Winnebago, Wisconsin who educate the inmates on art for 5 years. A message of thanks and poetic dedications fort the teachers are also offered.
